Stockfish 9 vs 8 : Interesting Position Where SF8 Got it Right

I was evaluating a position from the following game:

Magnus Carlsen v Adnan Orujav
EU-ch U12 (2002), Peniscola ESP, Round 2

Here is the FEN:

4rr2/p1p1q2p/Qnkp2p1/8/N1P1p3/1P4P1/P4P1P/R4RK1 w - - 42 22

For some reason, only Stockfish 8 identifies the clearly winning combination of moves, beginning with 22. c5.
Stockfish 9 evaluates 22. Rae1 as roughly equivalent, only recognizing 22. c5 in hindsight.

Thought I would share, and see if this happens to anyone else.
